Highlight a Resident...Eric Greenberg, PT, DPT
University of Delaware Sports Residency Program

I am one of two sports residents currently practicing at the University of Delaware (UD). I began my residency program in the summer of 2008 and will complete the 13-month curriculum in June 2009. My educational career began at the University of Florida, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Health Sciences in 2002. I continued following my passion for sports medicine by pursuing a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Since graduating in 2005, I have gained valuable experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in both New York and Philadelphia. While I enjoyed these clinical experiences, I continued to be drawn, both professionally and personally, to the sports medicine realm of physical therapy. In researching the opportunities available in this arena, I decided that a sports residency program would afford me the greatest benefit, guidance, and learning experience.
